How Much Water Should I Drink

The recommended daily amount of water varies according to which expert you speak with – a rule of thumb is to divide your total body weight in kilograms by 30. The result gives the number of litres of water you should drink each day. So, based on this formula, a person of 60 kg should be drinking two litres of water a day and so forth.

You should start slowly, starting to drink 1-3 glasses per day for the first week. If you are not experiencing side effects you can slowly increase the number of glasses a day during the first week. If you do not feel any flu-like symptoms at the end of the first week, you can increase the amount further the following week. The more ionised water you can drink, the better it is for you because the water is more alkaline, providing more detoxification, and a stronger anti-oxidant that gives your body more oxygen.
